Monday
Welcome to the Art Academy by Mikkel. Rune introduced to the session program. Benny Jørgensen introduced to the facilities at the academy.
Everyone had been given the assignment of presenting an idea for a piece for an online exhibition. In the afternoon there was a presentation of the ideas.
Tuesday
Eddy Bøgh Brixen, first day. Introduction to electroacoustics. Sound as vibration in an elastic media, how it is transformed into electrical current and digital representation of sound.
Wednesday
Eddy Bøgh Brixen, second day. Introduction to microphones. Different types of microphones. Cardial, omni and directional. In the afternoon practical workshop working with microphones.
Thursday
Eddy Bøgh Brixen, third day. Introduction to speaker systems. From MS stereo to surround sound. Different systems.
Friday
Benny Introducted to sound editing. Different synthesis techniques.
In the evening students gave a performance/concert at the chapel at Mur/Rum
Monday
Went to the Museum for contemporary arts in Roskilde. Looked at locations.
Tuesday.
Kristoffer Akselbo made a presentation of his work.
Shinji Kanki arrived in the afternoon. Rune gave feedback on Friday’s performance.
Wednesday
Kristoffer Akselbo studio-visits.
First day of the conference Sound, Art, Auditory Cultures at Copenhagen University
Thursday
Kristoffer Akselbo studio-visits.
Second day of the conference at Copenhagen University, Sound, Art, Auditory Cultures.
In the evening there was a performance at the academy with Brandon LaBelle, Aeron Bergman/Alejandra Salinas, Shinji Kanki and Lawrence English.
Friday
Student sound works were presented at the online exhibition.
