Two weeks of lectures in Trondehim
Program
Tuesday
Everyone arrived at Trondeheim Art Academy.
Lecture at 13 with the artist Camille Norment on her work with sound and installation.
Wednesday
Individual critique session with Camille Norment.
Throughout the stay each of students was to give a presentation each. The presentation of the day was Marie who presented two sound works that worked like sonic journeys
Discussions went around the topic of the acousmatic works of Pierre Schaeffer.
Thursday
Indvidual critique session with Camille Norment.
Friday
Due to the sickness the days programme were cancelled.
Sunday
Presentation by Dodda who presented issues of the gaze as written in the theory of Jacques Lacan and the voice. Finally the theory of the acousmetre as presented in the theory of Michel Chion was a topic in the presentation that concluded with a presentation of the idea of a visual/sonic piece where sound and vision were interdependent qualities.
Monday
Asbjørn Tillers was sick so his lecture were cancelled.
Instead Rune held a lecture and listening session on the theme of the acousmatic and the voice.

Tuesday
Screening of Jacques Tati’s Playtime. After that discussion on the use of sound in the movie based on among others the theory of Michel Chion and some aspects of sound on film of Danish theorist Birger Langkjær (presented by Rune).

Wednesday
Lecture by Rune on the topic of Silence, presenting both the philosophical understanding as well as silence as it appears as a concept in architecture and in sound art.

Lecture by Alexander Rishaug, composer and sound artist
Individual student critique by Alexander Rishaug
Presentation by Tisha on the concept of time, with the offset in the work by Gyorgi Ligeti
Friday
